I'm so glad you are here! I hope during your visit you get a glimpse of God's heart for we become what we are gazing at. I pray that God refreshes you and gives you readiness to persevere in what He has for you today. My desire is to be a blessing to you in helping you know God more and make Him known so I've made these Resources available to you and have the Missional Living blog tab for practical ideas of how to live on mission right where you are. If you are blogger come link up on Friday's for Brag on God Friday. "The LORD turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand. Am I not sending you?" Judges 6:14 Do you feel inadequate to serve the Lord? Do you recognize your weaknesses and insecurities? Or are you more like me who thinks I can do it all and pride clouds the reality of my inadequacies? No matter the extreme you tend toward, we are all in the same boat of imperfection. God doesn't call the perfect but the imperfect thereby receiving more glory for Himself. The Lord didn't wait till Gideon got it all together. He didn't wait for perfection before sending Him. Instead He moved him to action where he would be dependent on the Lord and the lies he believed would be defeated. Because the more you trust God, the more you trust God. The Lord says the same thing to you and me today. Go! In the strength you have. Has not the Lord sent you!? (John 20:21) In what ways are you living as a sent one? What strength has the Lord given you/do you have? Oh Lord, You truly are incredible to call us in our imperfections and inadequacies. It truly is all about You and so often we get our eyes off that and on ourselves and how we don't measure up and arn't good enough. Thank You for the reminder that You love willingness and availability rather than passivity in efforts to attain perfection. Oh Lord, let this year be a year of action of walking by faith, not sitting by faith Do you wonder where? How? Watch my short youtube video explaining how to use your uniqueness to be on mission for God's glory. And I just gave a seminar that will be available to purchase (for $1 I think) soon, talking about this issue. And check out the Missional Living tab as I go through the Go; Overcoming Obstacles series. If you haven't already, Subscribe to receive a FREE copy of the Life Purpose Plan; discovering how your uniqueness, current reality and the mission fit together for the glory of God. And will you please like Beholding Glory on facebook. (I'm in the process of writing my 2nd 12 week Bible study and publishers love those stats. Thank you!) The Entire Weekday Devotional Series

In myself I don't have much strength, but when I need it - - there it is.

God uses imperfect people to accomplish his aims, because there is no other kind. I love stories like that of Gideon because it reminds me what God can do with us if we allow him to. That's also why I love the Acts of the Apostles.
