How awesome that from when we are tiny ones, we have a built in desire to create. We are created in the image of God and making things so clearly displays the very character of God, giving us a tangible example of Him as the Creator. One of Asher and Uriah's favorite things to do is to play trains. They love to create a new track for Thomas and Percy to ride on. Not only do they get great satisfaction through creating and then enjoying thier creation, it also gives me great joy to watch them. God could have created everything for us, but then we would miss out of the great opportunity to display Him as the Creator and not get to experience the joy of fullfilling our purpose of glorifying Him. So what do you make? How does it show us what God is like? Over at Kelly's Korner, she is asking what people make, so I want to shaI love to write Bible studies. I love to create questions that help women experience the passage. I wrote a Bible study on 1 Samuel which is full of incredible stories. I love to help women behold the King and be transformed into living uniquely purposeful and missional lives. In my study Beholding Him, Becoming Missional; Awakening to the Mission Through the Study of 1 Samuel, my desire is that women will walk away with minds and hearts that have been transformed through an intimate relationship with the King, and lives uniquely reflecting the King’s heart and mission for the world. (100% of my proceeds go to organizations that help rescue girls out of the sex trade) What a privledge to experience the creation of others, like my step dad's back yard that he so beautifully creates or getting to benefit from my friend Christina through her creation of utter covers.
