Time to think back through the week and meditate on how God revealed Himself. (He does so through His Word and through what He has made.) I have seen Him show Himself to be a gentle Potter this week. I am leading a team of college girls to Cambodia partnering with Agape International to minister to the girls rescued out of the child sex trade and the community of Phnom Penh. As Angi (the staff girl leading with me) and I were planning and praying for the trip, we hoped God would provide at least 5 girls to go with us. I wasn't sure many more would choose to go because the risk of going into the heart of child sex trafficking is so high. And even if girls did want to go, how many parents would let them? Last week we started the application process and have had 10 girls already apply and know of 17 others interested. Wow! Only God can create a desire in someone to take a risk for the glory of God in the face of injustice. And only God can enable a parent to trust Him with their daughter as they take that risk. We truly are the clay in the hands of a very gentle and good at shaping our desires Potter. What about you? How have you seen God show His character this week?
