Working Moms ConnectI'm so glad you are here! I hope during your visit you get a glimpse of God's heart for we become what we are gazing at. I pray that God refreshes you and gives you readiness to persevere in what He has for you today. My desire is to be a blessing to you in helping you know God more and make Him known so I've made these Resources available to you and have the Missional Living blog tab for practical ideas of how to live on mission right where you are. I also host a link up on Friday's for people to link up posts that glorify God. Hope you link up today. I look forward to the day when we get to sit down in heaven and I get to hear aout you and what God is and has done in your life and get to share what He has done in mine. But till then I will introduce myself. Here's a few random things: * I love seeing people in thier element. God has given me the ablity to see and appreciate peoples uniquenesses. * Though I fear silly things like sharks (when I live in a landlocked state) I am generally pretty bold. In Russia on a missions trip I had my little Asher (who was 1 at the time) on my hip and saw a man pushing aound his girlfriend. Across the railroad tracks I started yelling at him to leave her alone. I think I freaked him out by speaking English in a non-tourist city with a baby on my hip putting him in his place because he stopped and just seemed stunned. I guess some would call that stupidity. lol! * I love to brag about God and love to see others use their uniqueness to glorify Him, so I host a link up called Faith Filled Friday. (Maybe today you'll join us?) Family Heres my kiddos. Asher, Uriah and Eden who each have thier own God gloirfying birth stories. God gave us our boys through a miraculous adoption and Eden through a miraculous conception. lol! That sounds weird. I don't think my kids are God or anything. Basically, these little sweet ones are all testimonies of how great God is! Here's Asher Steven. Favorite activities: pretending to be a super hero, running, playing kill the bad guy and talking. (click the link to read his story) Here's Uriah John. Favorite activities: running, wrestling, kissing and hugging his sister and playing kill the bad guy. (click the link to read his story) Eden Noelle. Aka Edie sweetie, twinkle sprinkle. Favorite activities: Sucking her thumb while playing with my hair and walking as you hold her little hands. (click the link for her story) And here's our ministry house which God did another miracle to provide for us. In short, the owners came down $60,000 (unheard of around here) because God told them someone would be coming to buy it and to not worry about it and to take the offer. For the last 21 years they had a prayer meeting in the house and really wanted it to still be used for ministry so they said we were an answer to their prayers! Multiple times a week we use it for having students over for bible studies, prayer nights, leadership meetings, outreaches... all sorts of things. God even worked it out that it has a basement that a girl invovled with the ministry rents out from us. We have girls bible study down there while the guys have bible study in our living room and the kids are aleep upstairs totally undisturbed. God thought of everything! We use it for stuff like this... and this... And of course like this... Ministry Austin and I are missionaries to college students. We spend our time on the Auraria campus, home of Metro State, University of Colorado Denver and CCD, preparing students to reach and influence the world for Christ. So we do bible studies, 4 retreats a year, conferences, a weekly meeting, monthly 1/2 nights of prayer, weekly discipleship and outreach, training classes, dinners and so on. Our desire is to raise up students who will live on mission and be about making multiplying disciples. Here's the dinner and discussion at our house. The weekly meeting called amp. Here's the main tool we use to get into spiritual conversations with students we don't know on campus. Many times it leads into being able to share the gospel. Here's last years girls retreat. And we take students on missions trips to crazy places like Cambodia. Here's our monthly prayer letters and our site for the students. Passions I love teaching God's Word and love writing bible studies. This is the first Beth Moore type Bible study I've written and am starting my second. Oh I just love it! Check out thereviews of it. And I invite you to use it yourself or start a group. I am leading 2 groups of women through it right now and they are loving it! You can order it anywhere. Here is the link to amazon. So, that's me in a nut shell. Thanks for stopping by! Laura, I'm so glad to see the behind the scenes of your ministry work. It is beautiful. And so similar to my in-real-life work, in terms of reaching the hearts of the next generation. Praise God for opportunities to serve this way.

Love your blog, and am glad you are okay with not being at Relevant. It is a LONG distance from me, so I am going to have to be content watching it via internet. :)

While I have enjoyed many ladies websites during the blog bash thus far, your is the only one I"ve subscribed to. Time is limited as we raise three little ones (my three year old is an Asher too!) and I just can't read everything. I'm actually just getting back in the game of reading the Word daily. Whew. Happy to be back home there:) Blessing to you as you bless those in your midst and even out of your physical reach.

I really enjoyed reading about your adoptions and miracle pregnancy. God sure is full of surprises and you have been very blessed! What a selfless and loving choice your boys' birth mother made!
