Ok, in Exodus 5 and Pharoh freaks out from Moses and Aaron telling him to let the Israelites go and makes it so that the Israelites have to make as many bricks as before but will not be given straw anymore but have to go get it themselves. And if they dont meet thier quota, they are beaten. The Israelite overseers obviously care about the people and want to act in the peoples best interest. So they go to Pharoah, which seems pretty bold to me, and ask him to lighten the load. Pharoah says no and of course they are then discouraged. They run into Moses and Aaron and take out thier frusteration on them... the ones who they think made things worse. The overseers wanted to help the problem they saw. Seems like a neat heart... but without faith, without dependance on God and a bigger perspective... does it really help?
