Abundant- Full and meaningful. Jesus came to give us abundant life. Ultimately that life will be found in heaven. But even now I experience it. Sometimes I feel busy, but it's not that it's just "busy" like meaningless busy work. It's full, very full. But not just full of stuff, it's meaningful. How amazing that God actually does make life full and meaningful! At breakfast family saturday morning we read and article out of Voice of the Martyrs about Steven who was beaten, starved and sent to prison for telling people about Christ and now smuggles Bibles. We decided to take some of our stuff cluttering the garage to the junk yard to see if they would give us any money so we could help Steven and others Voice of the Marytrs helps. Sure enough, $125 later, the kidss got to store up treasure in heaven. We then went to a wedding of a student who has been a student leader. Garrett on the left, married a beautiful godly girl Kelsey. Both desire to love God with all they have. Brother Jesse on the right gave a toast challenging Garrett to greatness in marriage and set up a competition to see who can have the better marriage. I was inspired to pray my boys would have this kind of relationship. One that truly spurs each other on toward love and good deeds. The weekend ended with a friends daughters birthday party. Complete with fire truck rides for the kids. On my drive home, my heart again broke and eyes spilled with tears out of desperation for my life long friends to know Jesus. To spend eternity with them. A deep ache, a yearning knowning time is short. That they might know Him, the power of His resurrection. Oh Lord, You are the One who gives full and meaningful life. The Giver of all things good, impartial, showering rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. One day You will unleash Your wrath. And how I long for it to be unleashed on those that hurt the dear tiny Cambodian girls, but Lord, my friends, my sweet friends who I love deeply, yet who You love more. Please save. Please send laborers to their fields, give courage to the believers in their life to share the gospel with them. And Lord, the Giver of Life, the One who created the mind and gives understanding. Step in. Save. #201- Longing, a glimpse of how deeply the Lord wants my dear friends to come to know Him. #202- Full and meaningful life. #203- Getting $125 from the junk yard to give to VOM. #204- Brothers who inspire me to prayer #205- God's Word that tells us the Lord doesn't want any to perish. #206- God's Word that reminds that He came to give life to the full. #207- Getting to live in the beautiful city of Denver, so close to the beautiful mountains. #208- Challenges of boys who terrorize babysitters, yet others who can relate. #209 God's Word which reminded me this week to look to Jesus, not others for confidence. #210 Getting to speak 3 times in 2 weeks. Joy. Just got Google Friend Connect to work. Yay!
