Happy Friday, everyone! We just wanted to take a second and thank you for linking up with us! What a blessing to have you here each week!
So, I wanted to tell you a quick funny story. Have you ever done something embarrassing? I somehow find myself in situations that make my cheeks red with embarrassment a lot.....and I mean A LOT! Until I graduate school and hopefully join staff with Master Plan Ministries, I work for local sports teams in Denver-in a department with all men. Sitting there, waiting for the first quarter to finish, I got a text from Laura. It was just a picture, but a picture I had been waiting for!
Unfortunately, I saw the picture and audibly, in the girly-est of ways said "OOOHH!!! They look so good!!!"
Unfortunately...again, that was right after my co-worker pointed out a group of guys watching the game all wearing santa hats. It sounded like I was talking about the group of guys! And, of course, as I tried to explain that I was talking about the Connect Cards and their finalized design... I sounded frazzled as if I was making the whole story up! The men that I work with gave me a hard time and the embarrassment-red eventually went away. Hopefully, you don't embarrass yourself, but join me quietly in excitement! The Connect Cards are here! You can still grab the pre-order offer for one more week!
"How was your week?
Good! How about you guys? It was busy, but good!!"
These cards will definitely make my Bible Study more effective and on mission, but hopefully prevent me from embarrassing myself again.
Have a great week! Praying for all of you who link up with us!
We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness.

Yeah, those embarrassing moments are going to come! :) I relate. And depending on who you're around when they happen, sometimes they never go away. ha Glad you navigated through yours. And congrats on the Connect Cards!

Such a cute story! Sometimes embarrassing moments can be times for laughter and good memories. This sounds like one of them. I don't know what your Connect Cards are but I hope they help you in your missional work.
