Happy Friday! And just a quick reminder that today is the last day to sign up for a Discipleship Group. Check out the Discipleship Groups tab to learn more. I love writing Bible studies and developing ministry tools. I mean I really love it. The way I love sparklers and cereal type of love it. (Ok, well actually probably more) But with 5 wee ones it's hard to make time to write. So really the only way things get done around here is a little at a time. The way I wrote my Judges Devotional was by blogging what the Lord was showing me in my daily time with Him and just adding a personal story that related. Then over a long span of time the whole thing was written. So, I am starting the process again. Only this time I am blogging through 1 Kings and will turn it into a devotional and Bible study just like I did with Judges. (Here's the site if you haven't seen it TheBookof Judges.com) If you are looking for something to study, go ahead and follow along at TheBookof1Kings.com. I am posting videos each week with some interesting background and historical details. And I just have to tell you about a couple resources in the works right now because I just can't hold it in. One is a Discipeship Mosaic. It is like the Prayer Mosaic (a bunch of prayer stations) except each table people will discuss foundational issues (using the Thrive discipleship packet as the main content) in an interactive and experiential way. When it's done, I will let you know and you can download a free printable of it. And another is Connect Cards. Effective Bible studies have multiple elements besides just getting into Scripture together and three of them can sometimes get left out. Training (teaching the how to's of the Christian life), Connecting with each other (helping people share how they are) and Prayer. So the connect cards that will come in a playing card deck will have ideas on each card for each of those elements. Sound confusing? Well, I guess you'll just have to see. :) Squeal. Well friends, thanks for letting me share. And now it's time for you to share. Thanks so much for taking time to link up your heart written posts. You are a blessing and I am grateful to partner with you in reaching others in this online platform. We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow. So go ahead and link up below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. Please just let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or put my button code (found below and on the side bar) so they can find these other great people glorifying God and we can continue to grow as a community. Thanks! And in effort to encourage others in their writing by faith, please take a minute to comment on another sweet lady's post. Hi, Laura! I linked my guest post on NanaHood's blog, but I typed her blog name incorrectly in the linky. If it's not too much trouble, could you please edit the link name to read "NanaHood" instead of Nananhood? Thanks for hosting!

I am excited for the Group Study, Laura! Thanks again for the opportunity. I love to study and write about what I am learning, creating Bible studies and teaching others. I am finding more and more that is the niche I am most comfortable in. Like you, my writing happens in stages as I go through it and it always amazes me about the finished product. I look forward to learning more as you share what He is doing in your time of study.
