Since I shared about our crazy truck adventures last week, I thought I should close out the drama. After details going haywire (oh like little things like my drivers licence being expired so we almost didn't get to sign the papers and other wild things) we finally closed. Yay!
Not long ago I sat up at our ministries ranch feeling completely blind. I looked up at the sky and saw blue and clouds, not even a hint of stars. The Lord spoke to me how He hides things from us sometimes but in time things become clear. And they did. We are now in our new house and where there was sadness, He is slowly replacing it with gratitude and gifts of excitement (like my mom is moving 4 hours away!). In our measly couple days in our new house the stress levels have already dropped significantly since our two boys have more space and distance from each other and the noise level is dramatically lower. Peace. Something I didn't expect for years is now common. What a mighty God we serve! (I'll show more pictures when it's not just a big chaotic mess- though I'll share some of those too.)
We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness. About Laura

Laura, life is full of opportunities to trust God, isn't it! It's so exciting when we begin to uncover those hidden blessings (like more peace). It seems to me they are like signposts showing us that we're going the right way. Grace and strength as you unpack and get settled in!

Thank you Lisa. I had a friend say it took her 2 months before things started to feel like normal. I keep clinging to that as I wish it was tomorrow. Why is it so hard to enjoy the process.?? haha
