The end of the summer has finally arrived! We are in the final week of our time of serving in Durango and I am ready to get home. This last week we've hosted 25 staff and 15 staff kids while leading our all staff conference. It has been great speaking to the staff and introducing new tools and talking about some really exciting things coming up which I get to tell you about soon!! But after two and half months being away from home I am READY to get home.
But this summer came with an unexpected surprise... We're pregnant... again! This is crazy my friends if you know our story. We are not suppose to be able to have kids! Our oldest two are adopted and we got pregnant with Eden in the middle of our third adoption. So one friend said, "Hey, maybe you can have one kid for every year you couldn't." That would be 7... but 6 sounds like a good place to stop to me. ;) So as a new little life grows, so does my desire to sit in my own house with my own working internet where I don't have to wake up at 2am to blog since we ran out of bandwidth. Ah, the things we take advantage of... Thank you so much for your grace in dealing with me not being able to respond to comments or being able to write much the last couple weeks as we prepared for the conference. (My intern Jacque has been a life saver!!) I will be back to my normal self in a couple weeks. Grateful to have you ladies link up.
We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness. About Laura
