I have a question for you. But there's a catch. Share with me in the comments using the pictures below to answer.
Which picture would you use to describe God (or your relationship with God) and why? Which picture would you use to describe what God's been doing in your life?
This is a brand new ministry tool I just created and these are about half of the cards you can choose from to answer other questions like this that help you get into peoples lives. Here's the other questions you can ask in small groups.
This is a brand new resource can be used for both evangelism and discipleship. Read about how it works and see examples at TheRevealCards.com I just love using pictures to get a picture of where and how God is at work in peoples lives and this deck of 48 cards totally helps me do that. This week they just launched, so you can now get yourself a deck. Yipee!!
We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness. About Laura

I LOVE these cards! They spoke to me immediately. I could feel the prayer and thought put into this ministry. The compass best reflects my relationship with God, and the Bible with the gavel reflects where I am at now ...He is teaching me when and where to draw lines, where to stand firm, and challenging me to look beyond the surface in study of each verse to make sure I truly grasp the intended meaning of His every Word.

Coolest thing EVER! I LOVE this idea! I think out of these choices I would go with the stars picture...Right now everything going on with me just seems to show God in such a big way that I can't help but just stand and stare. And it's colorful, and beautiful, just like He is. <3 His magnitude is overwhelming! Thanks for introducing me to this fabulous idea!

These are beautiful! The one that expresses my week is the little girl sitting at the desk. This has been a week where my thoughts have been prompted by conversations with my 4YO granddaughter. Love that picture! Blessings!

I'd like to pick the potter and the clay vase and the beach with footprints, actually. Can I pick 2?:) Maybe because I feel like I am that vase being molded and made by His hand and sometimes still incomplete, but I long to be so close to him walking with Him every day so the footprints encourage me.

I echo Liz's reaction above: "Coolest thing EVER! I LOVE this idea!" I can also imagine using these cards as writing prompts: in what way does God reveal Himself as x? While I could reflect on these pictures for hours, my immediate response is that I see God as the girl standing with suitcases. He willingly traveled from heaven to earth, and he continually asks me to leave my own comfort zone to fall deeper in love with His people and His creation. Thanks for sharing!

What a great resource! This looks like such a useful tool to start up a conversation about spiritual things or to help open hearts and minds.
