Two days after having a full house of almost 20 over for Christmas, Austin and I with all the kiddos packed up to stay in a hotel for a week to staff a conference for 1,500 college students. Even though two of our four kids got sick (I'm mean like the type of sick where you're going through gross amounts of clothes) it was great. There's just something about seeing God work in students lives (and always so good to connect with the rest of our staff). And I got to speak and sell some books, such a gift! One of the days we did an online outreach. Each student wrote something true of them before they submit their life to Christ and something true about them after they gave their life to Christ and took a picture. Then they put it on Facebook asking people how they have seen Jesus change their life. They also messaged 5 non-believing friends they have been praying for in order to start a spiritual conversations. A lot of non-believers are engaging in conversations about how Jesus can change lives. Will you pray for them? Some of my favorite Bible teachers spoke at the conference as well as some super crazy stories of redemption. They're free to watch here. Laura, it was so fun to meet you while at DCC! We left (with our high school students) the morning of New Years Eve, as our high school track was shorter than the college. Was such a powerful, life-changing time for our students! (Sorry your kids were sick while you were there!)

It's my pleasure. ☺️ thanks for being excited. Sometimes you hear of so much awfulness in the world, it's easy to get overwhelmed... So times like this remind me how powerful God is. And it was fitting b/c in my time with the Lord in His Word He's showing me the significance of how He changed water into wine. He changed the elements... He is a changer, that's what He does. Surely if He can change physical elements, He can change hearts.❤️

Touched by the honesty shared on the young people's posters. Blessed by their proclamations! Beautiful!
