For quite awhile my husband and I have been thinking about switching from Wells Fargo to another bank but after a very homosexual pushing ad online and on tv, we were convinced we needed to move our money. But then life happened and we still have not done it. Then we get an email from Focus on the Family talking about how they actually did what we were thinking and encouraged other to do the same. It is quite a pain to switch everything. It takes time and energy... but then Austin and I are reminded that is worship. Laying our lives down, our time, our energy for Him and His glory. We want everything in our life to be pleasing to Him even the small details like where we keep our money and our healthcare. So we will walk by faith and do the hard for the pleasure of God.
And on the healthcare note, we are part of Samartian Ministries a sharing healthcare ministry. And we LOVE it! Our money each month goes to an actual person in need and we are required to send a note of encouragement and pray for them along with the money we send. What great accountability to serve those in need! We've had all three of our biological babies and gone through a cancer scare while part of the ministry and everything was paid for. I seriously can not speak highly enough about it. If you are in need of affordable health care, check out their website. (And if you decide to sign up will you tell them that Austin and Laura Krokos told you about it. It give us a discount. Although I would tell you about it even if we didn't).
We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness. About Laura

Laura, thanks for the encouragement! I love what you said about worship. We do tend to compartmentalize our lives, don't we? I appreciate your efforts here at Faith Filled Friday. Blessings.

Laura, It is pretty scary what the world is coming to. I've been saying for years to my husband and family that you can see a very clear line being divided on TV, in public, etc. I have not seen the ad but have heard about it. I don't want to think about what the next 20 years will be like. Gary Thomas was talking about pastors giving sermons who didn't mention scripture at all anymore and who didn't seem to be biblical, I'm really wanting to ask him who he is speaking of so I don't have them in any of my posts. If you know, will you private message me? Crazy world, but this is was Jesus predicted. Thank you for the link up.

It is a pain to switch everything over, but is necessary at times. My husband and I had Wells Fargo a few years back and we had issues with them as well. Thank you for hosting the link up. I love stopping by here and reading the encouraging posts on being faithful. Blessings :)

Oh my goodness, your words are a necessary tool of grace for me today... "it is worship". That is fundamentally one of the most significant truths about making choices to honor God. Especially with regards to the topic you wrote about. We need to honor God, we need to WORSHIP Him in the most sincere and honest way in all our ways.
