Discipleship Mosaic

I put together the Prayer Mosaic a few years ago and after seeing other groups want to do it and seeing how it births a desire for prayer I figured why not use the same format but focus more on the foundational topics that set the stage for Great Commission living. This is the beta version but I hope it is a blessing to you and your group! 

What is it?

A Discipleship Mosaic is an interactive group event where attendees move from station to station doing something different at each place. The attendees start at one of the tables and stay there for 17 minutes. After 17 minutes everyone gets up from their table and individually chooses which table station to go to next. They then remain at that station for 17 minutes. This process continues eight times so everyone has eventually gone to every station.

If you have enough time the night can start with coffee and snacks (and continue throughout the night) and end with worship.

How it Works

You pick a night to hold the event and invite the group of people you'd like to attend. You can even save the top image to print off as invitations adding your date and time. 

There are eight tables so you'll need to put as many chairs per table as people who will be there and set up each table. You'll also want to decorate to make the event has a special atmosphere. It would also be helpful to ask a few people to help with snacks and drinks.

Table Instruction Cards

You put one set of instructions and all the supplies per table. I recommend decorating the tables and creating an inviting atmosphere. Before the event begins you'll want the MC to explain how it works.

Basically, each table will stay together for the entire night. They stay at a table for a set amount of time (I would suggest 30 minutes) and then each table stops their discussion and moves to another table as a group. Each group may only have time to get to a handful of tables depending on how long your event is. You may want to start or end with short prayer and/or worship.

To download the table instruction cards, click the pictures below and save. I recommend printing on card stock or printing and laminating. They aer 6x9 cards so you will want to trim off the white edges.
