The Story Behind Discover God's Calling for Your Life
Doing full time ministry for 16 years; leading over 40 Bible studies and discipling over 200 women one on one, I saw a common theme in the needs of women, confidence in knowing their calling.
From college students to sixty year old women, I hear the same questions of what their purpose was and trying to find their security in places it wasn't meant to be found.
Over the span of many years and looking into many options, I saw a need for training women that addressed our purpose, mission as well as our uniqueness and the ultimate power source. Training that is practical, not theoretical. Training that actually helped people put the pieces together and actually get to the point they were able to live out the very purpose and calling of God on their life rather than just being told they should.
I have had the opportunity to train women in this at women's conferences and retreats where the overwhelming response was women saying how helpful it was to finally feel like they had tracks to run on and didn't have to be controlled by the tyranny of the urgent.
I believe the most joy and fulfillment in life comes from when we are living purposeful and getting to use our uniqueness and I want to help women experience that. I want them to come to the end of their life and realize they were the wise servant that invested everything they had for the Lord rather than the one who wasted. I want to help them escape regret that distractions, lack of focus, and confusion in what our purpose and mission really are.
But I know it's hard to get to a conference to get this training. It's a struggle to gather up not only the cost of the conference, but the plane ticket, hotel and food cost as well as time in the schedule with extra days.
I also have readers from 130 different countries, so having them come to a conference is not very realistic. So I thought, why not go to them? Why not film right in my very own home and give the information I share at conferences personally and have it be able to be accessed in a time frame that works for them.
