We exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character. And I just love how we are all uniquely built to do that. So every Friday I want to give you, uniquely designed by God, an opportunity to link up your thoughts on God, art, baking, photography, parenting, marriage, homeschooling, writing or blogging and more if they tie into or display the Lord somehow.
Here's how it works. 1. Link up as many blog posts as you want below by clicking the link below and following the prompts. (Perhaps think of old posts you want more exposure to as well as new ones.) 2. Let your readers know by including a link at the bottom of your post (or somewhere on your side bar) or paste my button code (found below and on the side bar). 3. Take a minute to visit and comment on another sweet lady or two's post. You're encouragement might be just what she needs to keep pressing on in being a voice in the darkness.

Thank you for your thoughts last week on this link up. I'm encouraged by your words.
Praying the Lord gives you continued strength, perspective, vision and hope for the things He has called you to. His grace is sufficient for you and He will lead you in triumph in Christ as you cling to His strength and might. Here's a video that brings life back into focus of what our mission is here on earth. Well this is my 263 Faith Filled Friday link up.
Wow. And here it is Friday. But I thought it was Thursday and thought I was ahead of the game. Ugh. I don't feel like a super great host of FFF these days. And not that feelings should guide our choices but it does motivate me to do some praying about if I should continue the link up. I would love your prayers and thoughts. Thanks guys! About Laura

Here at Missional Women, we want to help you grow not only in your relationship with the Lord and knowing Him, but also in your desire and ability to make Him known. We are staring up our Connecting groups again. Our Foundations Group will go through the most essential content in helping you become a strong disciple. A discipleship community created to intentionally go deeper with the Lord and grow in making Him known. This group has the goal of encouraging and equipping disciples who make disciples for the glory of God. It is a simple, practical, biblical, helpful, and personal for disciples of Jesus who want to make disciples of Jesus. “We will not wish we had made more money, acquired more stuff, lived more comfortably, taken more vacations, watched more television, pursued greater retirement, or been more successful in the eyes of this world. Instead, we will wish we had given more of ourselves to living for the day when every nation, tribe, people, and language will bow around the throne and sing the praises of the Savior who delights in radical obedience and the God who deserves eternal worship.” -David Platt, Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream

So I have a question?
These videos below are just amazing. Moving. There's just something about seeing greatness. But what? Why does it move us to see greatness? Ultimately I know it comes back to God. But I would love to hear your thoughts and what you've learned about why seeing greatness moves us.

Did you notice anything new around here?
There's been some things on the horizon and after our site got fixed I just went for it... well, kind of. I was trying things out rearranging and then I accidently clicked post when I wasn't totally sure I was going to move everything. Ever had that kind of uh-oh I hope I just didn't make a huge mistake? I guess you can't really call that "going for it". Well, after the initial shock wore off that I actually did just switch everything around without knowing if it would leave the links the same or just create of ton of broken ones I was glad I did. So far things seem to have transferred and I am now happy to give you a sneak hear at what's to come. This coming fall we are going to have an Missional Women Virtual Summit (woohoo!) and then in April have an all inclusive Missional Women Retreat at our ministries 5 building lodge in Durango Colorado. We are also going to be starting up Discipleship Groups again, an online Bible study and launch an online course. (Well, actually two). And we are putting together an online outreach as a way to reach and share the Gospel with people in other countries. This is a brand new idea and I can't wait to tell you more soon! So, there is A LOT going on around here and yet of course not without opposition. Things are breaking like mad around here... transmission went out, dryer breaking, bathroom, my phone. UGH. So, if you think to pray for us that would be great. I find one of the most challenging times to be patient is when I have a lot to do and my time to do it gets sucked up by the unexpected.

We're back!!
A couple weeks ago our site went nutty and I was unable to edit anything. After hours and hours of talking to techy people it almost came to the point of shutting the site down since nobody seemed to know what the problem was let alone how to fix it. It finally was pushed up to the engineers of my host who found the bug and fixed it. Yay!! It was such interesting timing as the Lord has been leading us in some interesting new things and it was like a forced sabbatical and time to pray for the Lord to unfold things in His time. Don't you just love how He is so good at leading and providing and doing all things good like He does!? Praying the Lord continues to lead you and give you endurance to walk forward with your eyes fixed on Him. About Laura

As our family grows I am finding more and more the importance and downright necessity to be organized. When I'm not it's like this weight on my shoulders goes with me wherever I am. Nagging at me, reminding me of all the things undone. But once there comes even a tiny bit of organization that frusteration lifts and a sigh comes to my heart. This life is filled with things that just have to get done. So what if you could find resources to help you become more effective in your daily life so you can spend more time doing what God has called you to? I found something that might be just what you need: The Ultimate Homemaking Bundle. For six days only, everything you need (and then some) is in one fabulous package, at a super affordable price. (Seriously, just wait until I tell you the price.) This year’s edition of the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle includes 50 ebooks, 21 eCourses, 14 printables, 2 videos, 2 audios, 2 summits, and 1 membership site. For less than the cost of a meal out, you’ll get a complete library to help you:
Plus, it comes with over $290 worth of bonus offers from companies you’ll love (this is one of my favorite parts). You sort of need to see it to believe it, but the package includes 106 digital products and it’s worth over $1980! Besides being so incredibly helpful, one of the things I like best about the bundle is the price. By offering it for a short time only, they’re able to give you access to over $1980 worth of amazing products for a whopping 97% off! Here’s how it works:
The most important detail, though, is that this bundle is available for just six days! After Monday night, May 1st, the sale ends and you’d have to buy all of these products individually. I’d hate for you to miss out, so click HERE to learn more or buy the bundle. It’s even backed by a 100% happiness guarantee, so you can make sure it’s right for you. No one should have to feel overwhelmed by homemaking because it costs too much or they can’t get the help they need. Learn more or get your bundle HERE. (Psst… the bundle goes away at 11:59pm Eastern on Monday, May 1st, so don’t wait!) Faith Filled FridayWe exist to glorify God, to display His heart and character.
